The extra large hydraulic pump is there to help you adjust the height of the chair. Also is equiped with brake so it will not rotate
The reclining lever on one side of the chair is controling the mechanism responsible for the adjustment of the backrest.
The metal structure of this Barber chair is coverd with special paint. Therefore the color of the structure will last longer in time.
